Joint ExactTarget and Windsor Circle client, Spangler Candy (maker of Dum Dums), saw its highest day of online sales by leveraging product, purchase, and customer data imported by Windsor Circle into ExactTarget. Using this data, Spangler Candy was able to deploy a series of automated campaigns, including a win-back campaign for churning customers, welcome series for new customers, welcome series for new subscribers, and a post-purchase thank you series.

Ecommerce Sales Grow by 11% in 2014, Expected to hit $294 Billion by Year End

Ecommerce sales are on the rise. In fact, revenue generated from online sales in the U.S. is expected to reach $294 billion by the end of 2014, an 11.7% increase over the $263 billion seen in 2013, according to Forrester Research Inc.’s report published earlier this quarter. Also predicted within the report, was that online retailers can expect revenue generated from all consumer purchases to increase over the next several years, growing by more than 57% to reach a whopping $414 billion by the end of 2018.
