Yesterday, team members of Windsor Circle were at the Internet Summit 2014 Digital Marketing Conference in Raleigh NC, both as proud sponsors and knowledge seeking attendees.

We were excited to take advantage of some fantastic workshops, including Advanced Search & SEO Strategies that provided insights for eCommerce retailers who are seeking to strengthen online presence and improve site placement across popular search engines.

This informative workshop was presented by Growth Hacker & Inbound Marketer, Matthew Capala, Search Decoder who has provided successful SEO solutions for multiple national brands including: LG Electronics, Prudential and Tommy Hilfiger.

For our readers, we managed to summarize 4 hours of strategic and best practice techniques for SEO, into 3 killer tips.

Monitoring & Tracking Success

Matt stressed the importance of retailers configuring analytic tools to start tracking performance on a website. Every effective strategy needs a starting point. These free tools are easy to set up and will assist retailers who are beginning to optimize the content within their eCommerce store.

Matt suggests retailers blog 2-3 times per week on topics that your visitors will be interested in. For example, if your eCommerce store sells shoes, an article titled "Protect Your Feet From Holiday Shopping" is a perfect piece of content for website visitors because it would be a valuable resource and an opportunity to promote the shoes your eCommerce stores carries to potential customers.
