Out of the Box: Q2 Team Day

Windsor Circle is passionate about transcending the norm in pursuit of meaningful and lasting progress. A critical part of this effort is Team Day! Once a quarter, our team leaves the office behind and commits an entire day to intentional engagement with one another and with the Durham community.

Asking the Tough Questions

This quarter, we held a team-wide forum centered on the subject of racial equity. Here at Windsor Circle, we are cultivating a company culture that attracts, welcomes, and retains a diverse pool of talent. Our discussion gave us an opportunity to take an honest look at ourselves to assess where we are, where we want to be and how we plan on getting there in regards to this effort. We want to continue to be an industry leader in the pursuit of genuine workplace diversity so we are constantly seeking out ways in which we can improve! Interested in what our company make up looks like now? 

Community Engagement

Windsor Circle is committed to supporting early childhood education here in the city of Durham. This quarter we partnered with two nonprofits that are doing amazing things in the lives of our city’s students-- Book Harvest and Crayons2Calculators. 

  • Team members worked with Book Harvest to deliver thousands of books to local elementary schools in support of their upcoming summer program: Books on Break. Through this initiative, hundreds of Durham school children will hand pick 10 books each, which they will have the opportunity to read during the summer and keep as their own for years to come.

  • Crayons2Calculators is a group that strives to provide Durham teachers with the school supplies necessary to effectively educate our students. Several Windsor Circle Team members helped organize the group’s warehouse and store front in preparation for their summer school supply drive.


After a long day of engaging conversation and service, the team took time to sit back and relax. Every team day, we make it a point to set aside time for team members to get to know one another in a more low-key environment. We call this Funishment (a mashup of Fun and Punishment)! Whether we are playing bocce ball, trading stories or just sitting down to enjoy some drinks, it’s always a pleasure to hang out with colleagues. And we believe that doing so is critical for strengthening our lean mean Retention Automation machine!
