"Anti-Gaming" cart recovery technology

At the 2014 eTail East conference for eCommerce executives, industry leader Windsor Circle chairs "Email Personalization Day" and announces new product features.

DURHAM, NC – August 1, 2014 – Windsor Circle, the industry leader in customer retention software and data-driven marketing, will exhibit its robust retention automation platform at the 2014 eTail East conference from August 11 to 14 in Philadelphia, PA. As sponsor and chair of the event’s kickoff Email Personalization Day, Windsor Circle also plans to reveal new innovations in email personalization with its advanced Cart Recovery Solution and industry-changing Anti-Gaming feature.

Since 1999, eTail has become the leading online and multi-channel retail conference. Over 100 companies, including many top merchants, and thousands of attendees are expected to enjoy the networking and learning opportunities at this year’s event. With speakers, panels, roundtable discussions, and case study presentations, the conference provides eCommerce retailers with valuable niche industry knowledge and personalization technology solutions.

“This event gives us a great chance to interact with top retailers and key players in the world of eCommerce and showcase our newest tools,” says Matt Williamson, CEO of Windsor Circle. “They are changing the game of retention marketing and email personalization.”

At the conference, Windsor Circle will unveil its most recent innovations in data-driven retention marketing and email personalization— an upgraded Cart Recovery Solution with an Anti-Gaming feature. Windsor Circle clients using the tool have recovered on average more than 15% of such abandoned carts.

The initial version released last December offers a variety of features, including the ability to send optimized cart recovery e-mails to existing customers who abandon carts on a daily or hourly basis.  The improved Cart Recovery Solution is now fully customizable as well, allowing retailers to further personalize recovery templates.

Windsor Circle’s Cart Recovery Solution upgrade includes a new Anti-Gaming feature that makes the tool even more beneficial for retailers. Using a predictive scoring matrix, the proprietary technology identifies shoppers who abandon their cart intentionally in the interest of receiving a discount, and automatically removes discount codes from select future emails."It's important that retailers don't 'train' their customers to abandon shopping carts," says Client Success Manager Scot Catlin.

Addressing the potential results with Windsor Circle’s platform and tools, email marketing expert Ziv Karmi of CoffeeforLess.com will speak on Windsor Circle's roundtables at the eTail East conference. CoffeeforLess.com makes over $1MM a year in revenue for data-driven life-cycle email marketing powered by Windsor Circle. Karmi will share his knowledge and experience to help other retailers take their efforts to the next level and achieve greater success.

“CoffeeforLess.com has proven what incredible results our platform and software can help retailers gain, so we’re glad that attendees will have the chance to learn more about our effective email marketing tools directly from such a leader in the field,” remarks Windsor Circle’s Vice President of Marketing Andrew Pearson.

Along with unveiling new features and sponsoring a day at the eTail East conference, Windsor Circle will also host a large private event for retailers and partners at Time Restaurant, Whiskey Bar & Taproom on August 12th.
