Joint ExactTarget and Windsor Circle client, Spangler Candy (maker of Dum Dums), saw its highest day of online sales by leveraging product, purchase, and customer data imported by Windsor Circle into ExactTarget. Using this data, Spangler Candy was able to deploy a series of automated campaigns, including a win-back campaign for churning customers, welcome series for new customers, welcome series for new subscribers, and a post-purchase thank you series.

The results?

  • 66% more opens and 45% more clicks than Spangler Candy's 2013 average email campaigns
  • 2.37x lift from average weekly sales numbers
